Jason Gerke, Business Advisor

Jason's mission is to help business owners increase the value of their business, prepare it for sale, and sell their businesses to the right buyer for the best price. 

It starts by benchmarking value from the viewpoint of a buyer and providing a roadmap to address key drivers of value in the business. Jason will leverage his business management, marketing, and real estate expertise to help entrepreneurs confidentially market and sell their businesses.

 

Jason is a licensed realtor at Engel & Völkers First Coast.  Over the past decade, Jason and his wife have boot-strapped, developed and successfully sold two vineyards and winery businesses. Jowler Creek Vineyard and Winery, Inc., in Platte City, Mo., was started in 2006 in a basement and grew into an estate vineyard and 3,000-case winery complete with special events, festivals, weddings, and multi-state wine distribution. 

  

Jason also worked in agriculture communications as a public relations account supervisor for Osborn & Barr in Kansas City. While there, he served clients such as Monsanto, Merck, and AgraQuest. Jason has also worked extensively with farmer-led organizations to provide spokesperson and social media training. 

Jason and his wife have two children and live in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He enjoys sailing, fishing, tennis, and traveling to national parks around the country.
